Diana Sokolić / Reflections / Jewelery Exhibition at the Permanent Display
On Tuesday, 18 September 2018, at 7 pm, on the third floor of the Permanent Exhibition of the Museum of Arts and Crafts.
Exhibition of artworks by Diana Sokolić, entitled Reflection, will display jewelery and accessories made of acrylic glass creating a dialogue between the classical museum setup, contemporary media and their reflections in the environment.
DIANA SOKOLIĆ was born in Rijeka. She graduated at the Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 1981. Associate at prof. Ljubo Ivančić and prof. Nikola Reiser workshops from 1981 to 1983. In addition to light art, she has been involved in design, ceramics, photography and pedagogical work for more than 25 years. At the Amsterdam Light Festival, in 2015, her lighting installation was selected as finalist. She has had 25 solo exhibitions and has participated in more than 300 joint exhibitions at home and abroad. Member of HDLU, InSE, HZSU.
